Creative Studio Portraits at Do Yu Cloud Studio | Alhambra, California
This was one of the first studio shoots that I was a part of at the new Do Yu Cloud Studio started by my friend Josiah. We wanted to do a cyberpunk inspired shoot for the longest time and we finally made it happen! Shoutout to our friends Kendra and Leon for modeling for us.
How it was shot:
1 Aputure LS C300d Mark II LED with the Aputure Lightdome II on a C-stand to the right of the subject. For the golden hour photos, it was the same setup except we added an Aputure Light Storm LS C120d II to the right of the subject. We then added a window blind shape filter in front of the Light Storm LS C120d II and set the color temperature to around 2500k to mimic that sunset look. We also had recessed lights from the ceiling to help light the subject from the top.

This was also the first time I tethered my camera to my laptop. Seconds after taking the photo, I’m able to view the photo directly from my laptop which is then projected on a TV monitor for the client to see. This is another benefit of studio shoots if you book with us!
