The Row DTLA & Hermosa Beach Engagement Session

Jesse and Erin’s engagement session could not have been any more perfect, especially at The Row DTLA and Hermosa Beach. They showed up to the session well-prepared with an extra outfit, sunflowers, sneakers, and some champagne to celebrate! During the previous day, we had met up over some delicious Korean BBQ to discuss the logistics of the shoot, such as location, outfit, time, as well as other things. I loved how open Jesse and Erin were to my suggestions, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Not only were they ideal clients, they were also the definition of "couple goals”

Jesse and Erin are both from Korea, and they met when they were both students at USC! They really love sneakers and have their own YouTube channel where they vlog about their day. They’re seriously one of the cutest couples that I’ve ever met!

Our first location was at The Row DTLA. This is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions because of how aesthetically pleasing this area looks and how the lighting is really good at almost any time of the day. There’s also plenty of spots to shoot, whether it's outdoors or inside shops such as Tartine and Bodega.

Our next stop was at Hermosa Beach. This beach holds a special significance to both of them because it is their favorite spot to go to just spend some quality time with each other.
